A Cyclonic Circulation has formed over the South Andaman sea & neighborhood at 0300 UTC of today ie 17th October 2022. Under its influence, A low-pressure area is likely to form over the southeast adjoining the east-central bay of Bengal and become more marked during the subsequent 48 hours.
Scattered low and medium clouds with embedded intense to very intense convection layover Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea and Nicobar Islands. due to this heavy rain is expected in many parts of Odisha.
The state officials are closely monitoring the developments.
