Union Minister for Home Affairs, Shri Amit Shah, and Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik of Odisha jointly inaugurated a significant infrastructure project. The newly completed 51-kilometer Kamakhyanagar-Duburi section of National Highway NH-53 has been dedicated to the nation. This crucial road, constructed at a cost of ₹761 crore, is expected to have a major impact. It will connect the coal-rich area of Talcher to the steel manufacturing hub, Kalinga Nagar in Jajpur.

During the event, the Union Home Minister and the Chief Minister also took part in the foundation stone laying ceremony for the expansion and strengthening of the Moter-Banner Road via Ladugaon in Kalahandi. Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik approved five Mega Rural Drinking Water Projects for the people of Khurdha districts. The decision has taken in a cabinet meeting held on 15th Octber,2022. More than 4.16 lakh people of 356 village from Tangi, Bhubaneswar, Balipatana and Balianta area will be able to get clean drinking water, in this project will cost of ₹ 456.51 crore

The Odisha Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has approved the creation of 120 new posts in the Odisha Secretariat Service (OSS) cadre at Group-A level. The addition of new posts will ensure effective monitoring, implementation of plans and timely delivery of services under the 5T framework.

In order to provide secretarial support for timely and speedy delivery of public services to the officers of the State Administration in the Secretariat, the State Government first introduced the service cadre of “Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant / Private Secretary Service Cadre of Odisha Secretariat”. Is. Home Department. ,

The Government considered it necessary to upgrade the number to 25 (twenty five) in order to equip the administration by providing experienced senior secretarial support staff to the officers in the Secretariat. Cancellation of various posts i.e. Senior Private Secretary (11 posts), Principal Private Secretary (8 posts), Senior Principal Private Secretary (5 posts) and Superintendent and ex-officio Additional Secretary (1 post) in the grade of 25 (twenty five posts). The vacant posts are Junior Executive Assistant (9 Posts), Senior Executive Assistant (9 Posts), Personal Assistant (4 Posts) and Private Secretary (3 Posts) from the Group-C and Group-B posts Odisha Secretariat Exe. Naveen Patnaik Inaugurated ICICI Phone Banking Centre in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday inaugurated ICICI Phone Banking, BPO centre in Matri Vihar area of Bhubaneswar. Which will provide employment to 1,200 young graduates with more than 60 percent of Female employees.

The ICICI banking centre is powered by artificial intelligence and robotics technologies It is well organized, equipped, and organized to serve the benefits of customers of commercial, business, and personal bank customers.

The Chief Minister of Odisha Mr. Naveen Patnaik thanked the ICICI Bank authorities for bringing in modern technology to the banking system. Mr. Patnaik said that this Initiative will ensure better service to customers within a seamless experience in the banking sector. He stated that this will not only bring efficiency to the system but will be helpful to the customers.

Mr. Patnaik told ICICI Bank authorities to expand the venture’s footprint in other parts of the state, so as to provide more job opportunities for the youth of the state. Mr. Patnaik assured the state would provide all necessary support for further expansion.
