The newly completed 51-kilometer Kamakhyanagar-Duburi section of National Highway NH-53 has been dedicated to the nation. The addition of new posts will ensure effective monitoring, implementation of plans and timely delivery of services under the 5T framework.

In order to provide secretarial support for timely and speedy delivery of public services to the officers of the State Administration in the Secretariat, the State Government first introduced the service cadre of “Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant / Private Secretary Service Cadre of Odisha Secretariat”. The Government considered it necessary to upgrade the number to 25 (twenty five) in order to equip the administration by providing experienced senior secretarial support staff to the officers in the Secretariat.
