According to the rumor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC will power the Huawei Mate 50, which will only support a 4G LTE connection. The company’s Kirin 9000S processor is said to power the remaining devices in the series.
Although the Huawei Kirin 9000S CPU has not yet been made public, it is most likely to be a modified version of the Kirin 9000 SoC, which is currently the company’s final flagship chipset due to US-imposed restrictions.
There have been recent speculations that the business is out of supply of the Kirin 9000 SoC, which means that some of the devices in the lineup may wind up utilizing Qualcomm CPUs instead.
