Who is Abhilipsa Panda?

Abhilipsa Panda is an Odia girl born in Barbil, a small town in Odisha on 30th November 2001, Abhilipsa Panda is 21 years. She is currently living with her father Ashok Panda, her Mother Puspashree Panda, and one younger sister. Her Father Rtd. Army Officer.

Abhilipsa Panda comes from a family where her grandfather was a famous harmonium (Indian Classical music instrument) player. She grew up listing to music. Abhilipsa Panda is a trained Odissi Classical Singer.

Berhampur: It is alleged that the missing minor girl from home was involved in a sex racket for many months. A Congress woman corporator candidate from Brahmapur and a Bengali woman living in Jaipur along with two other youths are accused of running this racket.

Heavy rain alert on 22 & 23 July for 8 districts of Odisha.

Bhubaneswar, Heavy rain, and floods devastated many parts of the country. Now Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain for 8 districts of South Odisha namely Koraput, Navrangpur, Rayagada, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Bargad, Jharsuguda, Sundargad etc. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning for these districts. Similarly, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain with thunderstorms in many parts of Odisha as well.

According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, the amount of rain will increase further in the state on July 22 and 23. The rains will continue in the state till July 24. During this period the state may get up to 70 to 110 mm rainfall. The low-pressure area that has formed at present is weakening around Madhya Pradesh.

Odisha once again reached 1000 daily Covid infections

Bhubaneswar: Odisha registered 945 new cases on Tuesday, 816 cases on Monday and 872 on Sunday after the number surged past 1000 for two days.

According to the I & PR department, 658 are from quarantine and 464 local transmission cases. Among them, 164 are in the age group of 0-18 years. Khurda has reported the highest of 307 cases followed by Sundargarh (197) and Cuttack (132).

12.25 lakh Families in the state do not have Pucca House

Bhubaneswar: 31,28,951 families have been provided with Pucca House since the 2014-15 financial year in rural areas of the state. But there is an estimated 12.25 lakh families in the state who do not have Pucca House yet. They have been excluded from the SECEC survey and have been identified as non-house category. Panchayat Raj Minister Pradeep Kumar Amat said the government was taking steps to provide them with Pucca House very soon

Four Interstate ATM looters arrested by Commissionerate Police

Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate police have arrested four interstate ATM robbers. The four ATM robbers were reportedly arrested by a special squad. They were caught red-handed while robbing an ATM in Bhubaneswar.

Earlier, the robbers looted more than 30 ATMs from Puri to Baripada. Millions of rupees, devices and cars were seized from them, said DCP Umash’s servant.
