Bhitarkanika National Park Re-Opened

Kendrapada: The Bhitarkanika National Park re-opened for tourists from August 1. After being closed for three months, the National Park is open today. The National Park was closed for tourists from April 30th to July 31st. These three months are the breeding season of the Bula crocodile due to this the forest department took this step.

The forest department issued a notice that no tourist can enter Bhitarkanika National Park for these three months. Like every year, fishing boats and other motorized boats were banned in the national park during this time, but from August 1, the Bhitarkanika national park once again opened for the tourists.

Tourists can go around observing all the covid measures. Meanwhile, tourists can enjoy the Boat Library, Bird’s Nest and Kanika Cafe at Dangmal etc. created by the Forest Department for tourists.
