7th day of Navratri:
The seventh day of Navratri is dedicated to Goddess Kalaratri, the fiercest form of Navadurga. These goddesses are worshiped on Saptami Tithi. Enemies tremble with fear at the arrival of this goddess who destroys evil-asuras and negative energies.
She is worshiped under the name of Kalaratri due to the dark complexion of the goddess. The goddess rides a donkey with a garland of electricity around her neck and a stick in her hand. Time is also cut in the form of a goddess.
This form of Goddess is very compassionate towards her devotees. By worshiping Kalaratri Mata, the devotees are not affected by any kind of crisis, ghost obstacles, fear of enemies and negativity.
The night time is dedicated to the goddess, so worshiping and worshiping her at night time is especially beneficial. At night chanting the mantras of the goddess sit in the western direction and meditate on her idol and eat sattvic food.
