Lucknow : The Uttar Pradesh cabinet will be expanded on 26th September 2021. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will expand his cabinet on 26th September 2021. Governor Anandiben Patel has already arrived in Lucknow. It is learned that about 7-8 ministers may be included in Yogi Adityanath’s cabinet. The swearing-in is likely to take place at 5.30pm while preparations are underway. The new minister is expected to be included in the 2022 election. No old minister will be fired. The state BJP government is rumored to be including a new minister in the cabinet to balance caste and regional equality.

Sangeeta Bind, Jitin Prasad, Chhatrapal Gangwar, Palturam, Dinesh Khatik and Krishna Paswan could be sworn in as ministers in Yogi Adityanath’s cabinet. Assembly elections will be held in UP next year. In such a scenario, the BJP is trying to resolve the caste equation through cabinet expansion, so that the party can gain political advantage in 2022. The backward class is being included in the cabinet in this expansion. Attempts have been made to expand the cabinet to include those who have not yet been appointed to the cabinet.
