Bhubaneswar: The state BJP executive council meeting will be held today. Yesterday a key meeting was held at the state office under the chairmanship of BJP state president Shri Sameer Mohanty. The meeting focused on current political and social issues in the state, including partys organizational issues along with the ever-increasing law and order situation in the state, violence against women and children, border disputes, unemployment problems, widespread drug trafficking in the state, farmers issues, disrupted irrigation system, widespread corruption. The state government’s inaction on issues such as chit fund corruption, deteriorating health care and Biju Swasthya Kalyana card shortages, drinking water problems, disruption of panchayat development, unreasonable electricity tariffs, loss of Ratnabhandar keys, etc. BJP state general secretary Dr. Lekhshree said the issue of the panchayat, pay, and co-operative elections were discussed in detail at the meeting.
