Gohain, Pradhan to dedicate passenger amenities at BBSR, Sakhigopal rly stations




 Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan Union Minister of State for Railways Rajen Gohain will dedicate passenger amenities works at Bhubaneswar and Sakhigopal Railway Stations on December 30, 2017. 

This includes Bhubaneswar station’s second entry and station nuilding, new booking office with reserved and unreserved ticketing system at Platform-6 side. They will also dedicate the new booking office with reserved and unreserved ticketing system at Sakhigopal Railway Station through video conferencing from Bhubaneswar.

Dignitaries to be present at Bhubaneswar Railway Station are Ashok Chandra Panda, Minister of State for Tourism & Culture (Independent Charge), Odisha; Nrushingha Charan Sahu, Hon’ble Minister of State for Commerce & Transport (Independent Charge), Odisha; Prasanna Kumar Patasani, MP; Bijaya Kumar Mohanty, MLA and Priyadarshi Mishra, MLA.

Dignitaries to be present at Sakhigopal Railway Station are Pinaki Misra, MP (Lok Sabha) and Umakanta Samantray, MLA.

Gohain is also expected to review the performance of East Coast Railway and the progress of various infrastructure related projects which are crucial to the industrial development of Odisha and Northern Andhra Pradesh.
