SBI, OSRTC ink pact for payment at toll plazas

Country’s largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) has signed an agreement with Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) for using SBI FASTag – a digital payment system - by OSRTC buses for making toll payments at toll plazas digitally.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed here on Wednesday in presence of OSRTC Chairman-cum-Managing Director KB Singh, SBI Bhubaneswar Circle Chief General Manager BVG Reddy and senior officials of SBI and OSRTC.

The MoU is a landmark initiative by OSRTC to facilitate its 450-odd buses to drive through toll plazas without stopping for cash transactions.
