Bank of Baroda, Poorti ink pact




 With an aim to provide digital solutions to farmers, public sector lender Bank of Baroda (BoB) has entered into an agreement with Poorti Agri Services Pvt. Ltd. The mobile e-commerce platform will simplify various agricultural needs of the farmers; and help them buy agricultural inputs like fertilizers, seeds and pesticides.

BoB Head (Rural & Agri Banking and CSR) G.B.Bhuyan presided over the function and exchanged MoU with Poorti Agri Services Pvt. Limited Founder Director N. Balasubramanian.

The tie-up with BoB will help it to offer its services in a seamless manner to the farmers and agriculturists visiting the platform.
“We have entered into memorandum of understanding with Poorti Agri Services Pvt. Ltd to work jointly and it will provide farmers digital platform for farmers to buy agri inputs online through payment gateway of Bank. This relationship of Bank of Baroda with POORTI Agri Services Pvt Ltd will immensely benefit the farmers in increasing their productivity,” said Bhuyan.
