Pearl Academy’s School of Media offers specialised programs in journalism, entertainment

With an aim to address the fast-growing media and entertainment sector, Pearl Academy, India’s leading institution in design, fashion, creative businesses and media studies, has launched School of Media, which would offer courses in media and communication with specialization in journalism and entertainment.

“Responsibility of the media institute has become very important in training budding journalists to find their voice among millions of media owners where breaking news has moved from television screen to mobile screen. The new media school of Pearl Academy has broken all the rules of classrooms and assessments for its students. For our students, world is their classroom and covering live events has become an integral part of their learning grounds. They are mentored to be proficient in approaching a story from a 360-degree perspective,” said Meha Jayaswal, Area Head – School of Media, Pearl Academy.

Talking about the launch of School of Media, Professor Nandita Abraham, CEO of Pearl Academy, said: News and entertainment sectors are rapidly progressing and looking for bright young minds to grow the same. I am excited that with launch of our new school of media, Pearl Academy will be able to develop talent for this exciting sector.
