Govt effects major reshuffle at IPS level




 In a major reshuffle at the Indian Police Service (IPS) level, as many as 32 police officers were today given new assignments.

Sources said 2003 batch IPS Kavita Jalan has been posted as the new DIG of Rourkela while 2005 batch IPS Sanjeev Arora is now the new SP of Sambalpur. Similarly, 2006 batch IPS Anirudh Kumar Singh is the new SP of Mayurbhanj while 2008 batch IPS Umashankar Dash is the new SP of Rourkela. 2008 batch IPS Prakash R is the new SP of Jharsuguda while 2009 batch IPS Akhileswar Singh has been posted as the new DCP of Cuttack. 2009 batch IPS Brijesh Kumar Rai is the new SP of Angul while his batch mate Charan Singh Meena is now the new SP of Jajpur.

Mitrabhanu Mahapatra, an IPS officer of 2010 batch has been posted as the new SP of Kandhamal while his batch mate Sarah Sharma is now the new Principal of Police Training Institute at Byree. 2010 batch IPS Kanwar Vishal Singh has been posted as the new SP of Koraput while his batch mate K SIVA SUBRAMANI is now the new SP of Bolangir. Similarly, 2010 batch IPS Ashish Kumar Singh is the new SP of Nayagarh while 2011 batch IPS Pinak Mishra is the new SP of Sundargarh. 2011 batch IPS Batulla Gangadhar has been posted as the new SP of Deogarh while 2012 batch IPS Sudhanshu Sekhar Mishra is the new SP of Boudh. 2012 BATCH IPS Madkar  Sandeep Sampat is now the new SP of Kalahandi while  2013 batch IPS Anupama James has been posted as the new DCP HQ, Bhubaneswar. James’ batch mate Rahul PR has been posted as the new SP of Rayagada while Smit P Parmar of 2013 batch is now the new SP of Nuapada.

Jagmohan Meena, an IPS officer of 2013 batch has been posted as the new SP of Malkangiri while his batch mate Mukesh Kumar Bhamoo will be the new SP of Nabarangpur. OPS officer Dipti Ranjan Ray is now the new SP of Khurda.
