Videocon’s GST awareness drive empowers consumer electronic traders




  As part of its drive to impart GST awareness and knowledge to consumer electronics trade partners in over 200 cities, Videocon along with ASSOCHAM, organized GST Summit in the State capital.

The GST Summit for traders held deep discussions around GST and its implications, and addressed consumer electronic retailers’ queries on the topic.  The National roll-out of the ASSOCHAM Videocon GST Summit in Delhi was done by Union Minister of State for Finance Arjun Ram Meghwal. He congratulated ASSOCHAM and Videocon on organizing the Summit and caring about the trader community.

Speaking about the initiative, CM Singh of Videocon, said, “We are committed to welcoming GST and bringing each and everyone in the industry to its promising fold. Through the GST summit we are looking forward to equip our trade partners in Bhubaneswar with all the knowledge on GST and help them in running their businesses smoothly. Videocon has always taken initiatives to ensure industry growth and welfare and this seminar furthers our efforts. We will hold over 200 such seminars across the country to empower the consumer electronic traders to make them GST ready.”
On the occasion, Videocon also announced launch of a digital helpline for retailers, GST@vgmail.in, where Consumer electronics retailer can email their queries with regards to GST. Videocon will endeavour to respond to it with the help of experts within 48 working hours.
