Gagan underscores 3S for growth of FISHFED

Adding on to the 3T mantra of the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Secretary Vishal Gagan has underscored the significance of 3Ss – Skill Development, Scale up existing pace of development and Speed to achieve any target.

Gagan said this while responding to the ovation given to him by the functionaries of FISHFED here on Tuesday.

Before elaborating his 3S formula, Gagan told FISHFED functionaries to religiously follow the 3T mantra of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik- Team Work, Transparency and Technology- while carrying out government assignments.

Expressing satisfaction over the progress FISHFED has made in recent past, Gagan exhorted the functionaries of the federation to work with renewed vigour to make the organisation country’s leading fish federation. He also assured FISHFED of all help from the State government.

Earlier, in his welcome address President of FISHFED T Prasad Dora spoke at length about the rapid progress this fish federation has made since its inception. Dora, who is also the President of FISHCOPFED, informed the F&ARD Secretary the potential the fisheries sector carries in generating employment and improving the socio-economic development of fishers in the State. He also elaborated various programmes being undertaken and the ones to be taken up in future such as introduction of aerators, insulated ice boxes, diesel outlets etc for the benefit of the fishers in the State.

Précis 2017
From asking his party men to ‘live a simple life and serve the people’ to taunting the BJP for its ‘crocodile tears’, Chief Minister and BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik has not only become politically invincible, he seems to be so in the coming years too.
