CM happy with progress in construction of Baripada Medical College




 Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today expressed satisfaction over the progress in the construction work at Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College at Baripada.

The college was recently allowed by the Supreme Court’s Oversight Mandate Committee to undertake admissions.

Patnaik during his visit to Baripada held discussion with senior officials of the Medical College.
He said he would review the progress every second week.
“I am satisfied with the construction work. Will review the progress every two weeks,” the Chief Minister told reporters.
Notably, the SC panel was approached by the State government after a team from the Medical Council of India delayed their inspection to grant the Letter of Permission.
A conditional approval has been granted for admission of 100 MBBS undergraduate course for the 2017-18 academic session.
