CM felicitates Dongria Kondh students for success in Matric exam

 Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today felicitated 34 students belonging to the Dongria Kondh community who cleared the matriculation examination recently.

       Exhorting these students, Patnaik said education is the tool to bring social equality.

       He said education alone can eradicate poverty and was a powerful weapon to usher in progress.
       Wishing them more success in future endeavours he handed them over Computer tablets and all assistance from his government to pursue higher education.
       Notably, these successful students belonged to the Parsali Tribal Residential School in Rayagada district and the girls’ school in Chatikona in the district.
       As many as 470 students belonging to the PVTG group from 19 special education complex cleared the Matriculation examination this year.
