Jena prioritizes appointment of docs, establishment of new medical colleges




 Newly appointed Minister of Health and Family Welfare Pratap Jena today said appointment of doctors and establishment of new medical colleges in the State will be his priority.

Chairing the first review meeting of the department after taking over his present assignment, Jena said, “We will focus on each and every aspect in the health sector. Especially, appointment of doctors and establishment of new medical colleges will be our priority. Providing quality healthcare to people will remain our primary objective.”

Jena lauded the State government’s performance in the health care sector. “Increasing number of patients in the government hospitals proves that the quality of our public health services has improved lately,” he added.
