Dharmendra expresses gratitude to State’s people for reposing faith in BJP

Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today expressed his gratitude to the people of the State for having reposed faith in the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Pradhan told reporters that his party has emerged as a tight competitor for the ruling BJD in the third phase of the rural polls across the State.

The Union Minister said the people of the State have rejected “an inefficient, paralysed, anti-poor and corrupt government.”
“The BJD tried to hijack several Central welfare schemes introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The demonetisation move received the support of the people which is reflected in the results of the panchayat polls. This trend will continue in the fourth and fifth phases also,” he added.
Pradhan reacting to the Number One claim of BJD said, “In democracy those who boast get punished by the people.”
Those who termed BJP as ‘Dengue’ have been fittingly replied to by Malaria and Encephalitis hit Malkangiri, Pradhan said.
Reacting to BJD allegations that he misused IOCL, the Union Minister said, “BJD spokesman Sashibhusan Behera only reads what are given to him by the bureaucrats.”
On BJP’s failure in the constituency of its State Chief Basant Panda, the Union Minister said the results till date proved that the saffron party has reached the heart of the poor.
However, Behera said in his reaction that two phases of the rural polls are still remaining. “We are the number one and will remain number one,” he added.

Précis 2017
From asking his party men to ‘live a simple life and serve the people’ to taunting the BJP for its ‘crocodile tears’, Chief Minister and BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik has not only become politically invincible, he seems to be so in the coming years too.
